Description

This is mostly for gaming (Still haven't gotten the graphics card FYI, will soon). Built it after researching parts and totally redoing my build over the course of about 2 months. Overclocked to about 4.1 Ghz with the 212, will do more in the future. Also has an Optical dvd drive that isn't mentioned below. Working with Windows 7 great :D

Nice build! the only thing I could of suggested is instead of the caviar blue, you get the caviar black. Many people do this, althought the black is better, at a littler cost

I have this board, and it is quite awesome. Doesn't hang around when POST, boots nice and quick. Good features. It's a great buy.

I'm thinking about getting that GPU as well. How does it perform for your games?

I haven't actually gotten the GPU yet, I'm saving up money for it now, and using the onboard graphics for now.

Ok nice, could you just hit with a message when you get it and let me know what you think?

Yeah sure, might take a few weeks though. I have no money right now, so it'll probably take a while.

save some money and get a new monitor. give the one you have to goodwill. cable management would be nice. But you have great parts. just concentrate on the little things to top this off!

So the total storage is 2x 160GB hardrives = 320GB of storage? Is the graphics card up to par with present games. How does this build run on some higher end graphics games? What dvd drive are you planning on getting? Still a newbie at pc builds. Don't get mad :/

Sorry, haven't checked back to this in a while! If you're still wondering, yes my two 160GB hard drives are 320GB together, but since then I've also gotten another 1TB hard drive as well as a 320GB hard drive (2x160GB, 1x320GB, 1x1024GB all together). The graphics card in this build is actually different from the one I ended up getting (Geforce GTX 660Ti) I can run Rome Total War II, Battlefield 4, Civ 5, you name it on maximum settings with my 660Ti It's given me no problems at all in the past 1.5 years and works amazingly, although it certainly wasn't cheap (~$300)! I ended up getting a simple Samsung optical drive from about $25 from a local computer part shop. Optical drives don't matter as much to me, all my games are usually digital almost always from the internet, but those that weren't worked fine with it. I was a newbie once too :)
