Description

This is my first build

This is my PC build. I'm using it as my primary system for gaming, downloading, watching movies and school.

CPU: Nice sweetspot for my budget and plenty of power for gaming and Adobe programs.

GPU: Same as the CPU, plenty power for a good price.

Motherboard: My requirements were USB3.0 header, AM3+ socket (duhh), and enough lanes for CrossFireX.

Mem: Just a solit pare of sticks. and low profile can always come in handy

Storage: I use the 2 SSD's for my OS and programs. My 1TB 7200RPM for games. The 500GB for documents and media and the WD 320GB as backup drive for the OS and programs.

Case: Beautiful clean looking case with enough space and a silence operation.

PSU: the EVGA G2 850W was my way to go, plenty of power for maybe an extra 270X and a 10 years guarantee.

All the free drives i got on my internship / old laptop I'm planning to replace all the free drives for a Crucial MX100 256GB and a WD Green 3TB. I now use the stock cooler on the CPU. I'm planning on a corsair watercooler or a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ect.

please forgive me my spelling mistakes (if there are any)

Thanks for reading and feel free to leave a commant.

Nice combination of CPU-GPU ;-). If you want to oc the cpu up to 4,6 to 4,7 Ghz you also can take a very good "air"cooler. I did it so at one of my builts....+1

Maybe the Noctua NH-D15 / D14 or the be quiet dark rock pro 3? For less money a scythe mugen 4 or a mugen max? There are many good aircoolers....I have the Cooler Master V8 GTS. He is not the best for the price but he looks awesome...;-) I cool my FX8320 @4,45Ghz to 58°C under full load with prime 95 over an our....@4,6Ghz he gets up to 61°C. Thats also ok but I woudnt go further. But be carefull, the best coolers are all very big! My V8 GTS looks out of the case....;-) http://de.pcpartpicker.com/b/8tKZxr

I do like the cheap scythe mugen coolers. But when I'm drawing the money for that Noctua beast I would rather have a watercooler. Thanks for your suggestions! BTW: you must have a pretty beast airflow in that rig of yours ;)

Regards
