As usual, I was bored as hell. So I started browsing Kijiji for some deals. Came across this one, had no hard drive and a rat's nest. The girl was asking $400, but after a couple emails she said I could take it for $250. At that price, who would be dumb enough to say no. Turns out a buddy needs a cheap gaming computer, so I slapped in a 250GB HDD, cleaned up the rats nest, relocated the fans and gave it a good blast of compressed air. Re-applied thermal paste as there wasn't enough on the CPU . I also pulled 8GB's of the 16GB's it came with, buddy doesn't need that much. All said and done it cost me $250 + $25 for the HDD. The scariest thing in this computer is the Rosewill PSU. When I pulled it out I felt like I was holding a time bomb. Hopefully it lasts for a little while atleast. Computer is louder than I like, simply because there is no fan controller. I am going to look through the bios settings in a bit and try to slow them down.
