Description

I have put a lot of time and effort in building this computer. I am fully happy with it, especially when i can change the lighting effect any way i want. The 32GB of ram is fantastic the rgb effect is a great bonus to it. The gtx 1070 has never failed me yet, great graphics temperatures around 50C-60C when gaming. The cpu is super fast at 4.0 ghz, im not overclocking it yet, maybe in the future ill overclock it to about 4.3ghz. With the Kraken X62 cpu cooler the idle temperatures range from 17C to 21C, during gaming it rises to about 38. The 6 Thermaltake fans are great! can barely hear them when around 700-1000rpm.

My fan configuration is that the back and front fans are pushing air into the PC and the top two fans are pulling the air out of the PC.

I have installed two LED strips along the window glass. I can control the color and mode with a remote.

Any comments or questions are welcome. Thank you for looking at My build.

Part Reviews

CPU

GREAT CPU Never gives out on me, The last cpu i used was a E5200 Dual core cpu lol This i7 is fantastic

CPU Cooler

Great cpu cooler, i read reviews people saying that its loud and stuff, but i can never hear, even when i put it on 100% speed for the pump i still cant hear. The cpu temps are fantastic.

Motherboard

When i bought this i thought there would be more red lighting. Very little lighting on it. It got the job done and it holds all the parts nicely.

Memory

I never had any issues with the software controlling the lighting. Super fast ram.

Video Card

A very good gpu, before this i owned a gtx 550ti a big difference between the two lol. Im super happy with it. The rgb is a great look for it.

Case

Love the case, super quiet, has great cable management, only thing i noticed was that its plexi glass and it would have been fantastic if it was tempered glass. But overall great case.

Power Supply

I love the smart fan feature it has, it has a bright rgb effect which i love.

Wireless Network Adapter

unbelievably strong wifi signal.

Case Fan

These are the best things in the my computer, they are quiet and bright i love it.

This build looks amazing ! The only small detail that is that low profile thermal take cooler. I would have personally dropped a little more money on a Cryorig C1. But overall great build.

The X42 is a great AIO, but before you make that final choice check out air coolers like the Dark Rock 3 Pro or the Cryorig R1 Ultimate. They perform just as good, quieter, and less expensive.

I want something that has rgb.

Then I would go for the X42. Its a great AIO like I said. Its quiet, performs well, and keeps things looking fresh.

Are the CPU temps good for you? I've heard bad things about that CPU cooler, because if the temps are too high then your probably better off getting a traditional air cooler for the mean time rather than risking the damage of your CPU.

I didnt get a chance to take a look at the cpu temps because im having issues with windows 10 as there is a process that is using 50% of my cpu which causes the temps to be higher than normal. Im working to fix that. I will update you on the temps. But what did you hear about this cooler? its not efficient in cooling the cpu? i got the cooler from my friend because he upgraded to liquid cooling.

Is it that Microsoft Presentation thing? I had a problem with that, too.

It's probably meant for SFF builds with low power CPUs where the stock cooler is too tall. It isn't really designed for 91W TDP CPUs.

nice build but maybe rearrange the pictures so the nice rgb ones are in the front. and why did you buy a that expensive cooler if you want to upgrade later? for that money you could get a better one and for less too.... 1+ anyways

Yeah after i uploaded the pictures they arent too nice, im gonna have to retake them. I got that cooler from a friend i didnt buy it. The only reason i want to get that NZXT kraken X42 cooler is because it also has the rgb lighting on it.

be careful not to push your cpu too hard in the meantime.

While using kodi to watch a movie, having a virtual machine open in the background running utorrent, the temps of the cpu maxed out at 36.

the highest i saw when playing battlefield 4 at ultra settings was 72 on one core but the other cores were high 60's.
