Description

So, I cut corners and only purchased exactly what I knew I needed with this build. At the time of purchase (last week) the total price for these parts was 860 dollars. It's listed higher now, but that should go back down.

So yeah, basically this is guy is meant to be a budget gaming PC with some rendering functionality. It boots and moves fast, and the GTX970 is working great on my latest steam games. (Fallout 4, Ark, ect.)

I'm getting full frames at near maxed settings across the board. Therefore, I'm very happy with what I got.

In the future I will be adding a better cooler than the default Intel one, though it's holding up fine thus far. Also, the MSI GPU seems to be staying cool as well. I imagine I will be upgrading the power supply at some point, however, I don't see a reason to just yet. Maybe in a few years when the GPU needs upgrading.

If you already have a great monitor and keyboard, you can pull those off to save an extra hundred bucks or so. I just wanted to leave them on since I'm very happy with both products as well.

Sorry for blurry picture, my phone's camera sucks. Also... I should clean up some of those cables... oops.

Eh, that's okay. Neaten the cables up and it will look great.

Also, prepare yourself for circle jerking on that PSU, that happens a lot. ._.

For most people it's not "circle jerking". It's others watching out for each other.

Yeah, it usually is, but sometimes PSUs just get unnecessary hate. Not saying this one is perfect, but, you know.

Not on this site.

To be fair, putting a $40 power supply in a $900 build is pretty odd.

Yeah, it is a bit odd.

For $860, you got some pretty good bang behind this machine! Gj.

How is that Raidmax case treating you?

Honestly although many people will complain about the 500B PSU, this is a pretty good build. +1

How do you like the keyboard I thought about it but it didn't seem to have the best reviews so what's your opinion

Also I'm going with a build that has the same MoB, CPU (k though) and GPU so if it handles games well then great

Very well budgeted build, great price balancing man! I'm putting a very similar build together, and I wanted to know how many case fan headers are on the mobo?
