So, I cut corners and only purchased exactly what I knew I needed with this build. At the time of purchase (last week) the total price for these parts was 860 dollars. It's listed higher now, but that should go back down.
So yeah, basically this is guy is meant to be a budget gaming PC with some rendering functionality. It boots and moves fast, and the GTX970 is working great on my latest steam games. (Fallout 4, Ark, ect.)
I'm getting full frames at near maxed settings across the board. Therefore, I'm very happy with what I got.
In the future I will be adding a better cooler than the default Intel one, though it's holding up fine thus far. Also, the MSI GPU seems to be staying cool as well. I imagine I will be upgrading the power supply at some point, however, I don't see a reason to just yet. Maybe in a few years when the GPU needs upgrading.
If you already have a great monitor and keyboard, you can pull those off to save an extra hundred bucks or so. I just wanted to leave them on since I'm very happy with both products as well.
