Description

Following on from the build for Strixly beQuiet , Being the Premium Tier package

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/B9hqqs

is a mid tier range , Dual White. As the name suggests this range is all white and is cheaper then the Strix build by a fair few hundred pounds :)

Like this Strix i'll get around to building a ATX and mITX verions of these to launch my website for Custom Builds :D

lessons learnt from this proto-type, to ditch the Spectre Pro fans and use the Wingboost 2 Fans found on the CPU cooler and use an LED White strip to light up the case. The fans are a bit loud and the mother board controller is shocking! Least with the Wingboost fans they can be kept at 100% and would be almost silent !

Also wish I got the Braided cable set in red when it was on sale to make the Build have a splash of colour. Will be adding this option if someone wants the Dual White builds in the future.

also, the ASUS Dual card is shocking, for £££ ou'd expect the ram to be cooled, with a heatsink at least!

If it ain't white it ain't right.

Kidding, of course.

This system just oozes thematic perfection. It's freaking pretty!

Great looking build, and thank you for combining so many pictures. Much easier to appreciate your work.

haha, yeah. I tend to only keep single photos of macro shots of components. unfortunately didnt get to do it this time around

this beast needs i7 for sure but a lot of picture for this build i am happy with you build.

Will offer the i7 6700 in build options, was trying to keep costs down as this was a proto-type build.

just a shame MSI didn't do this board with z170 chipset

Very pleasing to the eye, though a little white vinyl adhesive on the HDD would help with my OCD :-)

never really noticed the HDD as I normally use m.2's and ssd's. at night though it does reflect the build like a mirror which is nice!

might need to do a macro shot of it

I like the idea of mirroring... my OCD was objecting to the HDD sticker, a splash of text and yellow in a pure build, upset my inner zen

Tempted to rip off but for warranty reasons in selling I cant :(

mind have the get a mirror plate in there :D

I love the white look! Was the case a hassle to work in?

bit of a pain at first to install fans at the top with the handles one.

planning is key and getting a much cables down before you lay the mobo on top.

I had all the fan cables, and sata cable behind the mobo. 8 Pin went behind the Tray but wishing I had also tucked the HDD power cable under there aswell.

lot wider then it looks aswell... very wide

Ohh I love the case, but read it was difficult to work in. My daughter wanted the green one for her build, but I figured it was better for her to work in something more spacious. Plus I think the upside down card would bug me. This has me a bit motivated to do an all white build though :p

Luckily its quite wide which helps. Bit of a con you've got to buy the window panel, which moved the control panel to the back which houses SSDs. this then can be tricky to wire up the SSDs.

Modular PSU is the key, but this build was far easier then thw Jonsbo UMX3 which is the smallest mATX case out there.

GPU works upside down if its visually nice with RGB or watercooled so you can actually see the block.

Thanks for this man! I was trying to make a white build and 3 days before I was about to order everything I see this, something just as sleek as something I was trying to pull off for $1500 with a windows code! All I'm wondering is what sort of temps you're getting in that case.

Sorry for late reply. GPU was 70c and CPU 43c when stress testing both at the same time from what I can recall . Dualnis a bit of a hotter, louder card then the strix and cooling is a bit poor. No sink on the ram chips and VRM isn't attached to main sink. Recommend using thermal pads on the chips and changing thermal paste

Dude what if You put RGB LED fans in there instead of the white led ones :O! Boom, you just got yourself a build that you could make an any-color themed build

was trying to keep it as low priced as i Could for selling. great idea though, could add that into pricing specs
