Description

This is the parts list of a PC I made in late 2018 with the prices from then. I built it mostly for gaming and some content creation. It worked well at the time but I have made some upgrades because I got a good deal on a new GPU. The upgraded version can be found here: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/pqFtt6

Part Reviews

CPU

Fast but I had some trouble running some games with my OC because of stuttering

Motherboard

Very good board, it has nice lighting, good OC's and runs ram great.

Memory

I upgraded to a faster kit and returned these pretty quickly but I had no problems in the time I had them.

Storage

Very good for the price I got it. I have had no issues with failure and its a little bit faster than advertised speed.

Storage

As probably everyone who has reviewed this it's cheap, fast, and mostly silent.

Video Card

Very cool and quiet and I got some really good OC's at stock voltage.

Case

Great case for the price but when I upgraded to an RX 580 temps were really bad because of constrictive front airflow. If you are going for Nvidia and have less then an RTX 2070 you should be fine.

Power Supply

It has been reliable so far and it has pretty nice cables (no ketchup and mustard) but it is a little loud at times
