Description

I am using this right now for gaming and plan to upgrade it occasionally by including and SSD, new graphics card, etc. I have already done some game development for it, and that is what I built it for originally. It has been running like a dream with no slow ups, or crashes. Highly recommend the fully unlocked K series of Intel processors. Top of the line performance.

I plan on purchasing a new modular PSU at some point due to the terrible slew of cables that my current one has. The wattage is great and there are not fluctuations, but it is very messy. But overall the performance is great and I would recommend every component except for the case (terrible cable management) and the PSU (non-modular and too many wires)

how are the two different RAM's working for you (especially the speed)? Is there anything much different?

if you have ram at 2 diff speeds the slowest speed is the speed of all the sticks

The RAM works fine. The reason I got the 12 GB is because the extra 4 GB were given to me (I was gonna go with 8). I had no idea this thing had comments on it, or else i would have answered earlier haha. Im pretty sure the RAM has the same speed I may have put one in wrong. Will update it. I also have added an SSD since creating this post. Fast as hell.

I should rename it lawl. I was not too concerned with aesthetics when I was putting together the list of parts. Now that I look back... I could have done much better.... Haha

I am wondering if you got some of these parts awhile go, because if you did, it's very nice, but if you didin't, you might have wanted some up to date stuff..

Yea I would have jumped on the Ivy Bridge but I built this computer about a year and a half ago. July 2011 I believe. The mobo is compatible with the new processor, but my 2500k is still running like a champ. I am hearing that the 3570k is kind of hard to OC is that true?

great build! Something I would tell you is to improve the graphics card.
