Description

This was a build for my sister. I tried it as a roku replacement. Installed windows and used xmbc. Will omnimo with rainmeter to make links accessible with a remote control. The interface wasn't as polished as a roku box, but the system had much more flexibility. The system could play 1080p videos from mkx with no problem but had problems with HD netflix and other streaming sites.

Just wanna know, does that motherboard do okay for a basic workstation? Giving me old man my old Bitfenix Prod case and he wants to make a working PC to use the internet, be able to download and convert YT vids and other stuff.

Does it perform well?

It performs well for the basics like browsing and watching video. I don't think it's quick enough for encoding video though.

He doesn't do it often, just occasionally so it sounds fine.

Did you ever have a problem installing W7 Pro 64bit on it through USB? I keep getting stuck on the "Starting Windows" part, with Legacy and UEFI versions of the boot USB.
