Description

This was my first gaming pc that I built. I play a variety of games from low end to high end, couldn't be happier with the gtx 980. I have a few more upgrades in mind for this including another gtx 980 and two more Asus VG248QE monitors. It handles whatever I have thrown at it. It's not the best of the best and it may have not been the best use of money but I wanted quality and warranty, therefore I paid more for the parts, you may not agree with it but it was my money and built it how I wanted it, with that out of the way any other comments are welcomed and appreciated thanks for looking

That GPU :*( just chilling with my GTX 970 here. The ASUS Sabertooth is one nasty motherboard!

The only thing i've grown to hate about it is the size, but that's because I haven't purchased a case for over $70 that looks nice for my taste and is compatible haha

Amazon has a good price for the motherboard for $269.99 so I might just order this part when I save up enough for a more expensive build. gj

The 110i GT is awesome so far I haven't had any problems with it and I bought one of the original ones before the sort of recall usually stays for me around 30-35c at 4.6ghz

Just wanted to update, I originally had two ssd's, 120gb for windows and 250gb for games and then a 1tb WD Black for songs and pictures. I quickly discovered that the 120gb wasn't big enough for all my system programs and so I upgraded to the 500gb ssd, its what I should have gotten in the first place but I chose what I did originally to pay for the GTX 980. So the 120gb has been removed from the list to show what is currently in my system now, I also upgraded another 8gb or ram for 16gb total, I wanted 16gb originally but like I said had to sacrifice a few things to fit the GTX 980 into my original budget at the time. In the end that's part of why I chose to build my own computer was for the fun and option to upgrade down the road. Thanks for the positive comments so far I had a few people tear this build apart on another forum with some of the parts I choose and like I stated on that forum people may have opinions on what they would do differently but until they pay for my build im gonna spend the money how I want on what I want right?

Did you replace the side panel ? I have the same case, but it has side fan mounts.

Did you make it yourself or did you buy it ? I want to replace mine, the fan mounts are useless to me.

This is a beautiful build. I have the same case, but am having difficulty coming up with a cool color theme/scheme.

I originally got the 120gb for windows and the 250gb for my games, the 1tb is for my music and pictures, but I soon discovered the 120gb wasn't cutting it so I upgraded to the 500gb just recently
