Description

First Build in 10 years, have always used AMD, but went with Intel and nVidia this time as I primarily just game. RGB fans are beautiful but all of the extra wires are a pain in the azz. Although the current PCPARTPICKER pricing shows $3200, I was able to get everything for $2950 during 2019 Black Friday. The only changes I would make would be to get the 9900KS which was not available when I purchased and the Asus AIO would have been nice, but I couldn't justify the cost. Perhaps some Corsair RAM, but again the cost per performance, I couldn't justify in my mind. So I have a semi ROG build.

Currently running with a modest overclock of 4.7 Ghz, but the card did bump up to 2100 mhz with auto tuning.

1/18/2020 Update: So I added some additional pictures, all phone pics, so quality is questionable. I also updated the temp's I am encountering, this thing really amazes me, my max CPU temp, not counting stress testing has been 51c. That was with an extremely long session of Ghost Recon Breakpoint 8+ hours and I never went over 51c. Idle is around 27c and normal gaming activity rarely goes above 42c or 43c.

Ohh and I added to the RGB madness with a couple more RGB strips. Loving this machine.

I hear ya on the extra rgb cables being a pain in the ***. I just built my first pc and spent hours thinking about cable management lol. Nice rig though!

How do the LL120s perform on the radiator? I always thought you should use static pressure fans...?

LL120's are advertised as Static Pressure fans, and based on the temps I believe it, have never gone above 51c under load, other than extreme stress testing when I was working on the overclock.

Check the Tech Specs tab.
