Love that case and air cooler combo. I'm saving up for one too!

Did you paint the cooler?

Nope, maybe it appears because of the lighting... Oh, you mean the cpu fan?, i replace the original noctua NF-A15 by a Fractal Design Venturi HP140 and a noctua PPC 120 + White Noctua Chromax Fan mount

Are you powering your 990s with an amp or just using onboard?

Could you get the 990s loud enough with onboard?

definitely not. They sound too low.

Really nice build.. I'm actually wondering if I should get the DH15 or go with AIO H115i.. How's the mobo btw?

I chose the NH-D15 to be quieter, it is also superior to my previous h100i v2 ... With respect to H115, they have similar performance, however, the H115 noisier but also more pleasing to the eye. With respect to the mother board, I consider it the best option for Z170. It is very complete. Cheap and nice.

Hi.. Great looking build.. Any suggestions on case fans now that you have had some time to compare noise and effectiveness?

Hi, do you use the case's fan controller for your CPU fans and, if so, are you able to control their speed effectively? I built a very similar machine last week and am thinking about replacing my stock D14 fans with PWM ones, but want to be sure they will work properly with the case's fan hub first.

Actually, I just noticed from the photo of the rear of the case that you're not using the CPU header on the case fan hub, so I guess that answers that question!

Yes, i use the integrated Fan HUB. i plug the fan splitter on it.

Do you have any thermal issues with that GPU as close as it is to the power supply shroud?
