There is something wrong with the CPU I used when building the parts list. it's an I7-8700

Im pretty sure you need a 2080ti to even think about beginning to day trade.

But I do think this is quite overkill for its purpose.

it's more swing trading than day trading, so I'm probably okay. I'll buy a position and often hold it for a few or several days at the most. I won't be using any professional day trading software that streams a lot of data. I did want a graphics card that would support 4 monitors. I have 2 now but may need more when if I have 2 separate Excel file graphs open, my trading platform and probably another site.

thanks. Yeah, it may be overkill but I wanted something that could handle more than I'm doing now if for instance I'm able to quit a day job and just trade full time.

I7-8700. I looked at my saved parts list and for some reason that won't show up. The 8700K does but this one doesn't

These exact components? What was your budget? Not all the pricing came through on the parts list. I paid about $1100
