Description

1st of all I would like to say I am happy with this build and my first ever pc from scratch was not so fun. It took me like 8hrs+ building this scared it would blow up so I read and go ever like 5x. I also need some help with one thing. I was not able to install my front USB connectors due to the motherboard having only 2. Does anyone know how to connect it ?

-CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor ($440.99 @ Microcenter) - I brought this CPU from MicroCenter on blackfriday because it has a great deal and it was cheaper. They had a combo where you buy a CPU and a Motherboard that would save you -$30 off.

-CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i PRO 47.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($179.99 @ Newegg) Great cooler keeping my i9-9900K cool at 37c.

I had some error when the pc keep telling me I have a CPU fan error. I connected the CPU fan to the AIO fan. Took me a few minutes to figure out. But I just reconnected it to the CPU Fan instead of the AIO.

-Motherboard: Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI) ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($280.46 @ Microcenter)

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($424.99 @ Best Buy)

These are very beautiful Ram sticks! I love the Rain effect on it. It was pricey but whatever I worked hard for it. I order this from Newegg at the end because I was fishing for which places that sold the cheapest. At the moment everyplace was out of stock and 1 left from Newegg. So I snatched it:P

-Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($109.97 @ Newegg) -Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($149.94 @ Amazon) -Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($229.99 @ Newegg)

The M.2 is so damn fast! I use it for video editing and window 10 pro. Also refer to your manual to see which SATA will be disable when using a M.2 drive. All motherboard are different. Mine disabled Sata #2. All these SSD and M.2 was very easy to install and give me no problem.

-Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card ($623.99 @ Newegg) I thought it didn't work because the fan stop moving. But then I reliezed I have to download the MSI Afterburner to control the fans or make it auto. You can adjust the GPU fans to spin when its reach a certain temps. Mine stay at 35 and below, so the fan don't spin. When it reach 40 it will spin by itself.

-Case: Cooler Master MasterCase H500M ATX Mid Tower Case ($130.99 @ Newegg) This CASE is HUGEE!!! man it weigh like a 50lb suitcase. But got enough room for me to future update. I am happy with it. MY cable management sucks so it can still hide most of my cable for me. I love where you can put the SSD in different locations.

One think I don't like this case is that the dimension for the top rad+fan is kinda tight. Wish they cut a hole on the dismountable tray for the radiator cord to come down from the top. Because my Exhaust fan is squishing the rad cord.

-Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($122.98 @ Newegg)

More than enough power for me :P. Came with a lot of Cables and Satas.

Case Fan: Corsair LL120 RGB LED 43.25 CFM 120 mm Fan ($38.99 @ Newegg) Case Fan: Corsair LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.25 CFM 120 mm Fans ($103.00 @ Newegg)

Beautiful fans. !! I was thinking of getting these fans or the new Corsair QL 120 RGB fans. But the QL120 Series was not sync able with the LL120s. Plus there isn't a lot of YouTube video to research more about the QL120s. So it was blackfriday and time was running out. Overall its easy to install and tbh its more beautiful than the QL120s and brighter. Only downside is that this is only one-sided RGB fans.

Mouse: Glorious PC Gaming Race MODEL O Wired Optical Mouse ($45.74 @ Microcenter) Amazing mouse and cheap. It so light and does not hurt my hand anymore. I had a G602 Logitech mouse. The Macro setup on this mouse is amazing!!!! with they had more thumb buttons to make more macros.

CPU Cooler

I decided to get this cooler instead of Mastercooler is because I already got other corsair product. Also a friend informed me that you can control the fan speed and stuff through iCube or Corsair Link. So far I been gaming on this on Ultra/High setting and my CPU is like alrway below 50%. Thanks to the case. (Mastercooler H500M).

This cooler works amazing.

Case

This case I brought from Newegg is okay.. I really love the CASE but! when it arrived the box outside was a little damaged. Also There was no glass protector to prevent from scratching. I believed Newegg just send me a used or a returned cased because it does not come in with any glass protection for me to peel off. Other wise its provide GREAT AIR FLOW. My cpu constant at 34 degree and GPU at 35.

You could flip the radiator the other way. That way the hoses would lead toward the front of the case.

yea but it would block the light display of my beautiful ram sticks :P. I would consider it for the next build for my wife pc.

I just put together a build with the same case and AIO. I think it works just fine that way. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/MmYTwP
