Description

After 6 years with no upgrade, i decided to build a complete new gaming computer,

Cost me around 1200$, quite happy with the cable management on it,the only problem i have currently is the 1080ti overheating at somepoint (around 85° when playing pubg for example or f1 2018)

I used this same board for my upgrade build; how do you like yours so far?

Nice and clean, love the white light.

Looks like you are pushing warm radiator air into your case which would explain the higher GPU temps.

How did this build cost you around 1200 with a 1080ti? Is it from your old rig?

And also, it really sucks that the 1080ti doesnt have a backplate .. you should look into www.jmmods.com

Awesome attention to detail with your cable routing and overall aesthetics! How are you liking the tomahawk board? its on the list for my next build.

I have also used the tomahawk board and have found it to be a great option. Well priced.

Nice build!

I'm looking at the same motherboard and case combo (although going for black/red). Did the front HDMI port on the case work? Couldn't find anything on the MSI site in their specs.

Yep it's working you just have to connect it at the back of your graphic card

Really nice! I'm starting to plan a new build to replace my 7 yr old system and at the moment planning on using the 2600x too. I'm torn on going air or water though. I tried a Corsair H60 that died inside 3 yrs and so I went back to air. What monitors are you using?

You should try covering that SSD It kinda messes up the build. I think It would look much better if you covered the SSD. Just a tip <3

I just built a pc with this motherboard. When I download the MSI mystic light software I get an error message saying "This platform is not supported" after the software is done installing and I try to run it. Have you had this problem? The factory red is so ugly.

Can confirm this. Only coolermod which offers same/similiar/bit better perfomance is a hybrid mod and isn't cheaper. :)
