First Build All the Way From a Small Island in the Pacific. Yes Shipping Was a Pain.

I'll be using it for some casual gaming, homework, watching vids. I'm taking Engineering Design, so I'll be learning AutoCAD this Fall. The text with 1440p res is so small, hopefully I'll get used to it and my eyes won't get worse. Also, Be very careful when installing the mobo. Idk if i'm just a dumb dumb outlier based on no mention of this happening to others in reviews, but my hdmi, monitor Display, and USB 3.0 ports in the back of the case were damaged by parts on the mobo metal pan (see picture). I had to pry them out /:

Thank you to /u/snRNA2123 and /u/QuantumVI for their advice on reddit even though i didn't follow it.. sorry xD

Thanks to /u/JohnSmithestine for the sweet deal on Windows Home N.

Most of all, THANK YOU to my big brother Gabe for all the advice, patience, support, and for shipping my parts here <3 <3 <3.

Hate to tell you, but according to my standards, you were an idiot with the mobo I/O shield. You were supposed to bend the tabs in (if you're looking at the I/O shield from the back of the case) and then they would be out of the way of the I/O ports. But other than that, you weren't an idiot. But, is it really a nooby build?...

Definitely a professional boob. Needs more cooling and a fixed I/O shield. Coulda saved $120 by going with an AOC 2560x1440 144Hz monitor. (but that's just me)

hehe "boob"

Wait... how could he provide more cooling? He's populated all fan slots, and is unable to add any more. Do you mean a better heat sink?

Pardon me for not specifying. Yes. I'm curious about what the load cpu temp would be.

  • Solid parts list.
  • Clean cable management.
  • Good number of pictures.

That's a +1 from me.

Good build.

I would recommend turning your 2 front fans around as intake... Right now, all of your fans are exhausting.

Thanks for the advice. I'll get to it.

Yeah this is a good build and is probably working okay for you but please.... Please take the advice. Take the motherboard out and fix the i/o shield. Seriously. And flip the front fans while your at it.... And then enjoy that build!! +1
