Hello everyone, this build I made about 3 months ago, but I'm back again to edit what I've already posted about this thing. I have a few changes to make regarding my opinion on this computer. First off, this thing is an absolute BEAST, without the Headphones, Keyboard, Mouse, and OS, you're looking at around 1300$, I know it seems pretty pricey but you won't regret. Believe me when I say, this is the absolute fastest computer I've ever used, the parts work in sync with eachother like no machine I've ever seen. I've not had a single problem with this beautiful desktop thus far.

When I first started gaming with the GPU, It was slow, but now it works like an angel. I believe it just needed to be driven in if you know what I mean. But honestly, this computer. The speed is impeccable. I can't stress this enough. It may be the SSD I installed the OS on or the Computer its self, but either way. This thing is literally perfect for any purpose a Gamer could desire, not to mention the Hot Swap for laptop drives or desktop drives on top, no need to restart the computer, simply plug in and pull out. Works like a charm. All the features this Desktop is capable of is absolutely astounding.

I literally cannot think of any cons this thing has yet, not a 1. Besides the fans being a little noisier then I'd like, but you can even adjust that with 1 simple button on top of the PC. Haha, the changing LED lights are a Plus, but the most Graphic eating games still run at 60fps from what I've been able to see. FL Studio runs flawlessly, including streaming HD on Twitch, while playing a game, on skype, watching a 4k youtube video.

It's miraculous, that this thing is able to compete with about anything I put it up to the challenge to do.

Only a single con now that I really think about it, I still don't know what the core temp is of the processor. From what I've always seen, nothing above 50 degrees Celsius, so no problem?

Not only does AMD's FX8350 come with an 8 core for cheap, but at 4.0ghz for a little under 200$, already unlocked and ready to be overclocked at a seconds notice! Pretty spectacular, I have to admit still, I have never been able to put my CPU under full load. Not yet. Ram began at 1688mhz, simple change of the bios set it to the right 1866mhz though. So that doesn't matter,

Boot time is literally seconds, due to UEFI dual bios and the r9 280x being dual bios compatible with a push of a button. So worth it. Regardless, This PC is definitely the fastest PC I have ever used though, multitasking functionality is unreal. Gaming is fantastic it definitely gets the Job done.

If you want a FAST PC that can play about any game currently out there for PC, this is the setup for you. If you're ever lacking Graphics (GPU) Power, simply just crossfire or SLI another card, since it's compatible with both! (Though in that case, you probably wanna get a better power supply, I'll have to upgrade if I ever decide to crossfire or sli) So go for the 1000w or higher.

Part Reviews

Astounding, Quick, Low Temps

I underestimated this Motherboard. Definitely worth a 5 Star.

If I was to put 4 star, I would just be hating the Brand. So in all honesty, 5 stars should be rated on this, they are good cards, beautiful inside too.

The speed is well worth the price, beyond what words can say.

Video Card

This Card definitely holds its own, gaming, music creation, or otherwise. It's perfect. Even with just 1.

Hot Swap Deck, Extra LED's, Fans, Buttons for Reset or Colour, Low and High Fan Speed, you can't really beat this beautiful thing, especially the headset holder.

Power Supply

I should have went with a higher power supply.

Operating System

8.1 Pro 64-Bit, Plain no Extra **** = Worth it.

Case Fan

Pretty good at maintaining stability and speed without extra noise

Case Fan

They kinda suck.

Damn good keyboard, spilled lemonade inside the keys, they still work fine. (No Stick)

Scroll Wheel broke on me, not even from gaming. Got my replacement, it was DOA. Finally I now have a wireless and wired mouse from razor, because they messed up so bad.

These Headphones are godly, but not without the Synapses system.

That graphics card you have should do just fine, I don't think you fully understand its functions though.

I think you sir, are correct.

Hey dude its me again, you know the guy who was asking about the cpu and how powerful it was and if it could handle fl studio or not... I just wanted to ask you how the motherboard was working?? Any flaws or gripe you have with it???

OriginalWolf submitter 1 Build 1 point 38 months ago

dude, my pc is perfect, no flaws to date.

squirtkenny 2 points 51 months ago

Only complaint is the 16GB of RAM which you wont need for gaming. Could have used the money saved on the 16GB for a better graphics card or whatever else you wanted. Looks like a lot of the rubber grommets are unused so route your cables behind those for better airflow and better temps. +1 anyways

OriginalWolf submitter 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

I also do music creation on FL Studio, and video editing for my youtube videos, besides it never hurts to have more ram, I'll never be out of ram. Which makes it a +1. Like you said, so thank you aha.

And everything you see is used, I tried to route everything as best as I could, I did not take a picture of the other side of the PC where the cables are being routed already....

You produce in fl studio??? i do too but was wondering how much load you have on the cpu when producing??? i have lots of vsts, samples, etc. And was also wondering if you can have lots of programs in the backround with fl studio running??? i am going to be doing some heavy multitasking. When i mean heavy i mean: browser with multiple tabs running in the backround and also with streaming and pssibly some video editing and mulitasking with those programs.

This computer is ******* impecable. I've not had any problem at all, whatsoever in the speed of this PC, this thing is as sound as they come. Perfect for FL Studio, Skype, Gaming (GTA5 PC HD Graphics) Youtube Live Stream, 720p 60fps, all at the same time I promise.

This thing literally was the best build I could have possibly have ever have done. I selected the best things... man. It's perfect.

You need to turn your cpu cooler 90 degrees. Pretty sure the evo's arent meant to sit like that. You want the front fan to push air in and the back fan pulling air out into the exhaust fan.

reoper6 3 points 51 months ago

I dont think you can mount it like that on an AMD FX board

so0shiboi 2 Builds 1 point 51 months ago

Still fits afaik.

rossiosinc 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

I have my evo sitting that it exhausts out the back

OriginalWolf submitter 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

Mine has back exit exhaust and top

OriginalWolf submitter 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

It works. So I think you can mount it however you want.

OriginalWolf submitter 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

I know, I made a mistake when I first put it all together, was too excited to get it running, but it works fine. And I did test the airflow, it's going the right way either way, because the fans would still be sitting how they're sitting.

so0shiboi 2 Builds 1 point 51 months ago

Yes it will work but when it is mounted like that the evo is pulling hot air from the gpu rather then cold air from the front fans.

SleathX1 1 Build 2 points 51 months ago

where'd you get that mounted (as far as I can tell) headphone stand? that's awesome!

so0shiboi 2 Builds 2 points 51 months ago

I believe its a little latch that is attached to the case is what he is hanging it off.

OriginalWolf submitter 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

As so0shiboi said, it's already attached to the case, it came like that. But thanks for the compliment aha. :)
