Description

Bios version was compatible with the chip but i had to flash back to ver 1.0 Bios to enable Non Z OC in the bios and managed to get to a stable 4.4ghz at 1.295v with 0.025v offset.

Case

Does a good job keeping the noise within the case, cable management however, was a huge chore but i still managed to close the side panel while supporting all four corners of the panel using both hands and legs.

The g3258 is a perfectly good chip when overclocked. It has amazing single core performance that is almost on par with a 4790k. For most games ( and considering the components here) two cores is perfectly fine. granted the i5 would have hyper threading, but if this system is built for emulations then it would be great. Not to mention the reason he could have gotten 2 HHDs was to run them in RAID. I do have to say though, I used to own that AIO cooler and I hated it. It would throw bad temp readings and vibrated like hell.

i5's are true Quad cores and have no hyperthreading, but I do agree with the cooler. It is a cheap and half cheerful AIO

Well i need to correct some stuff on the parts list as some of them were not on the site. Mobo was the HDS R2.0 version and cooler was actually the 120v plus, cooling was actually alright but only after i added some foam to seal up the holes around the jetflo that came with it as the air was actually pulling in from instead of pulling through the radiator , guess im lucky as the pump wasnt noisy at 7v . Most of the parts are either gotten at a really good price or spare i had lying around. Um yes 750GBs are configured in raid.

Anyway, any suggestions for upgrades? Say to the 4790k without OC as temps for better temps because from where i am based, temperature can get up to 34degc on a hot day.
