I did a couple of builds in the last years as a hobby, but I was never fully satisfied :P This time, I wanted to try something that looks professional. This means custom cables and hardline tubing! I wanted also something powerful enough for the upcoming 4k@144Hz monitors because I think they will be the Holy Grail of gaming in the upcoming years :P
Trying to combine elegance and performance is not an easy task, but when I saw that new Lian-Li case, I finally found a case large enough to accommodate big radiators but still incredibly classy. I've watched videos on Youtube to learn how to do hardline tubing and let's go!
That project was totally crazy but I had a lot of fun doing it! Pretty happy with the result :) The two Titan Xs are absolute monsters and are heavily overclocked (and with the power mod for clock stability). My two 360 rads are still not enough but offer decent cooling performance. I will try to do a benchmark video of a couple of games. I'm getting 120-130 fps in battlefield 1 at 4k/ultra so mission accomplished!
Thanks to overclock.net and JayzTwoCents Youtube channel for tips!
P.s. I think one of the biggest features of the build is that it doesn't have RGB lighting lol! I don't understand all that RGB craze. I think RGB is not elegant, but that's my opinion. I prefer minimalistic white light :)
And yes, it can run Crysis!
