Great choice on the IPPC fans. Those are the ****. Your build is nearly identical to mine. On the top of the board they have ability to add mPCI wireless card to it if you want. Check my build to see the card itself.

That is good to know, thanks! How do you like your Asus monitor?

Its really great! I don't get any screen tearing at all. Being a TN panel has its disadvantages (minor) but the non-blurring aspect of it is great. I would look into getting the new model of this if you are into getting the Swift. Its an IPS monitor and is suppose to have great colors and not change dependent on height.

I was loving it until the 144hz gsync started to go crazy on me. I am currently running through an A-Z guarantee on Amazon to see if I can get refunded then change monitors for either the 34in predator/asus 34. I have all this horsepower and figured I should get a monitor that I can support. How is the system running?

System is running awesome. I ended up getting the Acer Predator XB271HU, monitor looks and runs amazing. Thought I was having issues with the Gsync the first week I had it, but turned out to be a bad DisplayPort cable.

Yeah just have to make sure that you are getting cables that are certified by the DP Standard... The list is small.

Is nice!! How did you go about choosing the optical drive? I know the Node 804 is finicky for certain drives, but shoot $145 == fat wallet status! Ballin'!!

Thanks! Chose the optical drive based on other builds. Wanted the most compatible blu ray drive, it fit perfectly.

I see you have two SSDs. I see one of them, where did your place the other? And what other cases were you contemplating for your MATX build?

The other one is behind the front cover, there is mounts for 2 ssd drives. That is also where the optical drive is mounted. I need to get a picture of it.... I mainly looked at cube cases, like Cooler Master, Corsair and Lian Li.

Could you include pictures of your peripherals? I'm especially interested to see what monitor you use.

My monitor is still on the way. I am getting the Acer Predator XB270HU. Right now I have it hooked up to my 60" Samsung tv.

Interesting. I can't say I know very many people who use a TV instead of a monitor.

Like I said, my monitor is on the way. Using the TV until it gets here. Better than not having hooked up at all.
