Description

I was on a $500 budget PC build but had to go up to 615 to get a decent graphics card. Most of the stuff was from NewEgg and bought as a combo or shell shocker or forums (brand new). I am still waiting for graphics card but just couldnt wait to show off what I got.

Oh btw, did I mention that this is my 1st time building a PC ?

Nice budget build there. Just one question, how bad does the cooler touch the side panel? Does it just barely touch, or does it touch it so hard that can potentially bend the side panel or worse, the motherboard?

Cable management looks really nice, especially in that case! Looks like you got some really good deals on some things and shopped around.

Thanks. Took me a total of 15 days to shop around and get good deals. I dont have a DVD drive (got an external DVD as I dont use them except for copying games) so the cables were tucked in the the DVD drive area. Took me couple of hours to tidy up the cables..

From my experience it's well worth the extra time to tidy cables. Especially if you ever do a build for someone else someday!

Nicely done also you could've had a better mobo for the price. You might want to buy an extra fan if you do not have any other than the one in your pic. Congrats still !

Motherboard was a combo deal with the RAM mentioned in the list. I couldn't ask for more at that price. The case comes with a 120mm silent fan. And I just bought 10 more fans in the shell shocker deal today. I might add one more fan making it a total of 3 including CPU fan.

You are right but I plan on OCing and playing with the components a little bit. For the games I intend to play, its plenty good.

How did you get that massive cpu cooler to fit in the case? Does it touch the side of the case?

Yes it does touch.

You did manage to get that cooler to fit? I might be doing a similar build...
