Been planning and buying parts for 3 months. Got great deals on most of the parts and everything arrived safely without any DOA parts. I'll use it mainly for gaming but also for programming and some minor video editing.
Wanted top of the line parts and to stay under a $2000 budget.
Got a great deal on the motherboard from Microcenter. Originally for $115, then a $40 discount because I bought it with the CPU and then $70 worth of rebates that I had accumulated from buying other parts.
Extremely satisfied with the GTX-770. Runs all games without much trouble, although Crysis 3 on ultra does face some FPS drops.
Didn't take many pictures during the actual build process because I was too excited... Cable management was pretty difficult on the Rosewill Blackhawk case because there isn't much room between the motherboard tray and back case panel to tie down cables.
LEDs look gorgeous and I am overall satisfied with the build.
I'll upload more pictures of my battlestation once that is set up with the monitor mount and at my college apartment.
