Description

This rig is made for gaming and was put together about a year ago. I only use this for gaming and nothing else, most of my parts have been upgraded over time and at times where I didn't know what I was buying. (/;;) If I could have built this again for the price I would have done way different. I recently bought the cougar fans because I broke the front two that came with the case. Overall I love my build to day, and it serves its purpose. The case I was not very happy with after buying a couple of 64gb Ssds for only 20$ each. The case only has one Ssd support so I have modified my case in the sense that I screwed holes for the Ssds on the 3.5 inch bays. I have also cutout a slot for the power supply fan on the bottom of the case so it may breath from there, and I can turn the power supply around. The build is very quiet and looks awesome on the inside. I even don't need 3 people to close the backside panel! Comment on any ideas or questions you may have! Thanks for viewing my build! and yes I know the power supply is way too much and it could end up frying my components!

The speccy specs are below:

Nice overclock!

It stays cool because it's only at 1.475 voltage! unlike other 5.0Ghz clocks where they use about 1.5V or higher.

DO you think that a cooler master 240m or h100 will be able to get the same overclock?

Of course...It would be better then a thick rad for sure. I actually have only one low quality fan on my h80i atm and can still maintain a 4.7Ghz overclock.

I just got the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme, and I'm at 4.8ghz. During fall and winter I'll be able to go to 5, but since I live in the south it's stupid hot right now.

Ah well then i think im going to put windows 8 back on my computer again. I have 8 for a while but my games kept crashing so i reverted to windows 7 and now i hate it lol. Also my games crashing was an overclock issue dunno why i didnt think about that in the first place. :P

Hmm, where did you get SSD's for $20 each?

A local ad in craigslist. The only problem I could think of it was I didn't ask how long the person had them, which can be concerning due to a limit lifetime.

I'll update pictures when I get new fans and LEDS! Also I forgot to mention the monitors have an overclocked refresh rate: Left/74HZ Right/66HZ

AMD monster with an Nvdia card.

AMD cards are not worth buying until the 9000 series even then Nvidia will be better cause of the shield and such which AMD doesn't have so far.

I don't understand the thought behind AMD cards not worth buying until 9000 series??

The shield is kind of pointless imo. I want to game on my PC not on my couch.
