Description

4/17/2014 UPDATE: I was able to swap the crossfired Radeon HD R5 5850s my friend gave me for free today with a Zotac GTX 770 I found on Amazon for $238.00 used from their warehouse deals! Completely a steal!!!

Still happy with the total cost of my build. Will update with pictures soon

4/9/2014 I was able to price and build this for just under $700 through MicroCenter! GPUs were given to me from a friend to save some cash on the build while I save up for a better one. He also taught me how to build, so it was a win/win for me.

You know you can manually input the prices just an fyi, other than that this is a pretty good build you have here.

also, how do they perform? There are some people these days still gaming with a single older gpu

I haven't had a chance to play anything too demanding yet, but the friend who gave me the GPUs said I could easily run BF4 with them crossfired. I won't be playing anything more demanding than that for awhile, so I'm going to save up and get a nice videocard down the road.

I think instead of wasting you money going for two 5830s you should of purchased something like a 660 maybe a 760 or even a 750ti/650ti. Other than that it's a pretty nice build just need a storage dive :).

I got the two 5850's (couldn't find 5850 in the listing) for free from a friend. Saving my money for a 780 right now. Thanks!

Fair enough if you got both of them for free and yeah a 780 would be an excellent choice. Sorry I forgot the to read the listing I'm a derp
