Description

New gaming PC build, as my old laptop wasn't cutting it anymore. I'm amazed at the i3's performance for a dual core and gaming. its probably one of the stronger components in this build, I chose to go with the typical "Intel/Nvidia-GTX" build because I have used AMD in the past and not good experiences :o I overclocked the graphics card and am fairly happy with it, I don't understand why graphics cards are so damn expensive but, i'll learn. I play GTA V on medium/high settings with 45-80 FPS constant with noticeable drops for not even a second in between big events. I also use these peripherals: LOGITECH G502 PROTEUS CORE MAGIC EAGL HAVIT GAMING KEYBOARD LOGITECH G430 7.1 SURROUND SOUND HEADSET

Will add these if I figure out how to edit part list (add parts)

save for a GTX 950. For 50 dollars more you wont regret it. :). The GTX 950 is best card on the market for price to performance :)

R9 370 4GB will oust any 950 last time I checked.

Also that PSU eww my friend just had his fail on him six months in and he's sending it back (and then getting an HX850)

It also doesn't suck much more power, I think it's only +40W

ive never heard of the R9 370. I know that a 950 is better than theh r7 370.

But the 270/x also beats out the 370, but with less VRAM.

Let's be honest bot of these cards are well suited for 1080p and no higher res, and 1080p doesn't consume copious amounts of vram.

270 may use more power, but it is cheaper.

Even better, a used 7950/70, for $115, but it'd require a PSU upgrade. Also a 7850/70 will run on a 430 watt PSU.

I have to agree that the r9 370 will out perform the 950 in some games (not all) and it has more v-ram, but nvidia cards are just overall more reliable and offer better overclocking potential.

well my internet is complete *** anyhow :D Get about 40-60 ping in most of my games. the card gets 30-40 MBPS but my internet is 3 mb/s download but when I actually download stuff its 350 kb/s

Your download speed seems right due to your internet speed probably listed in mega bits per second which is different to mega bytes per second. In simple terms there is 8 bits in a byte so the speed when downloading a file (in bytes) should be roughly 1/8 of the value for the download speed in mega bits which is fairly true.

Do you have any way to get that PC up off the ground because the intake fans are gonna suck in any dust or even hair from that dog and its gonna make the inside of your PC real dusty real quickly.
