Description

Was my first build on my own, I wanted to get a 4k monitor so that I would have the best gaming experience around, however I am on a budget so I had to compromise somewhere. I picked out the best parts that I could for a 4k gaming experience without breaking the bank. The 290x is a beast of a card and it is very cheap, although it can't provide me with 60 fps at 4k it gives me around 30 consistently. I originally had case lights but they were faulty and started a fire inside of my case, so I don't know if I will ever buy case lights again as they almost melted my pc before I even got to play. Thanks for look at my build! I think I really found the sweet spot for entry level 4k!

Make sure to adjust your ram for dual channel to get the most out of it.

Nice build but not sure about the bear, might bottleneck. +1

Not even 2 way SLI 980 ti will give steady 60 fps at 4k, ultra settings. What you can do probably is save up for another 290x and I think that'll put you a good spot for 4k with high settings!! Though I have a feeling the 4590 might bottleneck, just my opinion.

well I'm not an expert but when I have been monitoring my cpu usage it never really goes about 60 percent, so I don't think it will be the bottleneck in most games, and if it does then I have an excuse to upgrade =)

It will never bottleneck. If you had a Pentium and were running SLI 290x's I would be a little concerned but that i5 is plenty! Nice build man. Also, please put your ram in the right slots. 2 + 4.
