This isn't my personal rig, i was paid by nice man to build a gaming pc for his son, who was looking at pre-built machines, and i offered to make them something far more awesome. He wanted something great for gaming, but nothing too mental in price. I offered them the option of functionality, but no attention to aesthetics. OR, the same level of functionality, with a focus of aesthetics (which would be my choice, but i wasn't going to make it mandatory for him). Thankfully his son chose the second option, and i selected some parts around the really easy colour theme of back and red. Top end i5, with 16GB (to fill up those DIMM slots with sweet sweet metallic red RAM) and a massive 280mm front mounted radiator (its massive for this case, which is pretty small), which took me 30 minutes to get in on my own with fiddly screws going through the case, fan, then rad. (I think NZXT would have preferred me to use their Kraken cooler, because i could only just fit the h110 in.) Due to this not being a "crazy build", i was sticking with a hidden CXM corsair psu, with stock cables, which is pretty much the only major thing i dislike. The multi-coloured cables aren't my favourite, and had this been a build for me i wouldn't have used them, but for the end user this was perfectly fine. I barely noticed them after a while anyway. Im actually very happy with how this turned out, considering this was a fairly restrained build, and i was actually quite impressed with the S340 (except for the hdd mounts, which definitely weren't the best), at a fairly low cost. Its a nice case, and the basement and "NZXT cable management plate" (the only words to describe it) were actually quite effective at cable management.
