Description

Finally finished building my first computer EDIT: Just purchased my HD7770!

I paid nowhere near the suggested retail price add-up.

Mainly being used for MTGO and Steam, will eventually add dual monitors for work purposes. Let me know what you think!

MORE PICS COMING SOON!

Budget is a good term for it, I wouldn't call it crappy at all. The Phenom II + 7770 should serve you well enough for the time being, so I'd recommend prioritizing a display upgrade - a nice 1080p monitor would be my first choice. You'd have to lower graphical details in games, but the extra screen real-estate is well worth it, in my opinion.

Beyond that, I'm sure you'll be able to figure out what's best for you. A faster hard drive would probably be a close second, if it were me.

This looks wonderful! I'm checking parts for my Son's new computer and was looking at this Phenom and Biostar setup.

Hitachi hard drives are ******* terrible, they last max 1 year and just go crap.

you could have just put windows 7 home premium 64 bit and just gone with the $15 lg dvd drive, and with that money you could get a 500gb hdd =D

I'm not familiar with the Home Premium version, how is it different? I'm only a couple dollars off on the dvd drive, though I didn't know there would no free blu-ray player software :( I plan on upgrading my hdd soon! I'm nearly filled with all the newly added Steam games and I can't even install anymore cause I'm running out of memory

What's so crappy about it? I don't have Minecraft, but I do play other indie games and they run fine to me.
