Description

I am using the machine for some light gaming and actually enjoying it quite a bit.

Used Parts: Motherboard, Memory (I removed the heat spreaders), Video Card

Part I had already: CPU Cooler, Fan, Cable Extensions

Parts I bought new: CPU, Case, PSU, SSD

Is this a typical build? Nope, not at all, I had a bunch of parts laying around and trying to build out as much as I could, but I look at it this way, this machine is very game ready, the Pentium processor is pretty damn good considering it's only a dual core. I just needed another machine for the spare office in our house, and this one came out pretty well.

Inexpensive build, but looks like a more expensive build! Nice look you have going on there! +1

I built a cheap g4400 with no gpu and was playing World of Warships on low settings 720p at 30+ FPS on just the intel graphics. Made me think about finding a cheap used GTX 750.

Is the 280x getting bottlenecked?

In this case, he got the GPU at a really good deal so it makes sense.
