Description

I have to say thank you all for all of your help!!! At the beginning I was very overwhelmed about all of this but you guys made it easy.

COST I must say that I pay WAY WAY less than that $1240 price mark.

I made MULTIPLE Jet.com orders with multiple accounts and saved over $140 just by using their promo codes. SCARYMOMMY2015 saves you 15% up to $50 so divide orders $330 a piece.

Other pars were refurbish or bought on eBay using their eBay bucks 4x promo combined with ebates.

I pay $0.00 on shipping and $0.00 on taxes.

To my estimates I paid less than $800 for the whole build.

Help If you need step by step Guides please check out Newegg DIY Garage, they are AWESOME https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZENqTc0mRI4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtSjP3lUWuQ

Final thoughts I love the looks of this case but cable management was a bit complicated and it was pretty tight fit with the HDD and SSD. It holds 5 total drives but I can't imagining the cable management with that. I came with three fans and a fan splitter preinstalled which was sweet! I liked that the PSU was hidden since IMO is the ugliest piece of a build. Case can also fit two 280mm radiators

I went with the stock cooler for the CPU since I won't be doing any OC for now since the GPU/RAM are my current bottleneck.

Again... Thank you all!!

Hi! It's a Rosewill Gungnir it's not on their searches yet, I added it manually to the build.

I am considering a very similar build to yours. What made you decide on the Intel i5 6500 over the 6600?

Also if you wouldn't mind looking over my parts list and giving me feedback I would greatly appreciate that!

Hi! My build is a "budget build", the bottleneck in my PC will always be the GPU not the CPU. Therefore I will not need to overclock the CPU unless I spent a bunch of money on a new GPU. Currently my CPU usage is probable between 20-30 when playing games in high settings.

I would also check with sites like this which games you plan to run and what you need, and what's your bottleneck

http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=3443&game=The+Witcher+III&p_make=Intel&p_deriv=Core+i5-6500+3.2GHz&gc_make=ATI&gc_deriv=Radeon+R9+380+MSI+Gaming+4GB+Edition&ram=8&checkSubmit=#systemrequirements

Use places like jets.com, they have INCREDIBLE promo codes (currently Scarymommy2015 saves you 15% up to $50, you can place multiple orders with multiple accounts and save BIG)

I would invest in a better PSU, Gold+ minimum will pay itself

Nice build! What games have you played? Have you been happy with the performance? I am considering the same GPU/CPU combo.

Hi!, I'm playing mostly overwatch right now, but have been playing a lot of Witcher, Tomb Raider, Diablo, Starcraft etc. I'm super pleased and I'm playing most things in High/Ultra getting 30-75 fps in most games. Pretty good bang for the buck IMO considering the price after all the promotions I used.
