Description

I built this machine for my friend since we were all switching from console. I originally had an 800$ budget, so I included a GTX 650. After I was told I had another 200$, the only thing I upgraded was the Video Card to a GTX 760. Sorry I don't have a picture of the completed build, I forgot to take one. As soon as I see my friend again, I will upload one.

Notice I bought all of the parts on amazon when they went on sale, so the total cost was around 980$

Not bad prices. I don't quite understand the 4GB 760 unless your friend plays with some intensive memory needing stuff at 1080p or plays at 1440p+ etc.

I agree. For the same price he could have gotten a 2GB 770.

He plays on a 4k screen, so he needs alot of video memory.

Oh I see. That should hold up somewhat well then. Although I think SLI is going to be needed eventually.

Yea. I kind of designed this build around being upgradable; between an unlocked processor, 2 extra Dimms, and an SLI compatible board. The only thing that would need changed is the power supply.

Yeah that's totally fine, I got you.

Keep a sharp eye on the power supply, and replace it if you can.
