This is a dedicated Einstein@Home BOINC compute box and occasional backup PC.

Einstein@Home is a distributed computing application which processes data from the LIGO gravitational wave detector to search for gravitational waves. Info on Einstein@Home can be found at

The Vega 64 LC is on par, or a little better than a 1080Ti for this particular compute application, but they are very thirsty power wise.

As this box runs compute 24/7, it runs mostly stock except for fan curves and system memory speed. There is an Eaton 900watt/1500VA UPS for each compute box as the local power supply tends to have spikes/brownouts quite often.

Edit: I replaced all the Corsair ML140s with Noctua NF-A14 Industrial 140mm 3000RPM fans for Summer and retook the photos. Excuse the dust please, it is a work horse not a show pony.

Very good idea to slap a UPS on it due to brownouts in your area. Don't want any of these components to be killed by bad power.
