Description

I built this rig for all future endeavors. Gaming, Video Processing, and CAD processing. Sadly one of the most important parts the video card isn't even close to what i need thus far but at the moment i don't have the funding to buy the one i really need/want. It runs great other than an MVP Virtu issue that i can't seem to fix. I would build this for rig for anyone interested because it's a solid build.

This build breaks my head... Z87 is not necessary on a build that can't OC. That powersupply is way more than you need. Like almost 3 times as much. Why you bought a 4gb kit of ram and a higher speed 8gb kit of ram would confuse Einstein. You also bought an aftermarket cooler but I don't see it in any pictures.

Not the mention the monitors and the essentially useless GPU. The onboard graphics are probably better than a 430.

I do not recommend using this for any rendering, or even gaming. Money went into all the wrong places here. 4GB slow RAM, garbage video card, locked CPU, too much PSU, full tower case, and more. Sorry, but this build is not ideal for the tasks you specified. -1

Anybody who downvotes this guy. He got his parts for a 1/4 or less; he works at a computer store. "Actually i paid about 1/4 that price, most of my parts minus my Mobo and the CPU ($50). i got for under $20. I work at a computer store which grants me access to slightly used or refurbished prices." So don't downvote him because of that. He's got a nice motherboard decent processor, sweet case and a nice power supply. Can't hate on that. Nice build with discount prices/parts. +1

to reply to all of you, the onboards are extremely better than the graphic card, i utilize it with Virtu to slave for an extra GPU and the Nvidia functions. The RAM was free it just had a price because of Part Picker. The Cooler that i got was with the CPU and it wouldn't let me publish without one so put the closest thing i could find.

hows the window on this case, is it big enough? and can you see threw it well?

MKenna submitter 1 Build 2 points 39 months ago

it's not bad, granted it's not what i would have liked to view the guts but it works, I got the case for $10 because it had a broken grill that i fixed

thanks man, any chance you can give me the dimensions of the window so i can approximate the size?

You have a nice little setup but you could of got a better build for that price :/

very true thankfully i paid that much for my CPU directly from Intel and I wish i had a Vid card of that caliber.
