Description

Love BF games and guild wars.

Things i did right: Seidon 120m... AMAZING! Cougar fans are great RAM is sweet

Things id change: Should have gotten GTX 760 4GB not 2GB Should have gone 8350 instead of 6350 I initially bought a cheap apevia 730w PSU... Never again. Corsair rocks! Didnt realize my mobo wasn't SLI enables

Love my system, didnt actually pay that price. I work at Best Buy so the peripherals were cheaper and i always watch newegg daily deals!

edit: I work at bestbuy so i got windows 8.1 free. WOO!

edit: Decided to change up the mouse. Went to a Logitech G600 for guild wars. Im going to still use my a4 x7 as my FPS mouse though.

Torrenting is bad, mkay?

Torrenting isn't bad. In the same way that Driving isn't bad. Torrenting illegally is bad. Driving illegally is bad. There is a torrent link for downloading Linux Mint which is free to begin with and is linked directly from their site. Pirating (which I think is what you meant)however is bad.

the controller is just for looks really.. It doesnt do all that much, but it is fun to show off:p it is nifty though. I put my cougar fans to 100% and my LEDS that i didnt mention to 40% just because i like the lights

Wow I haven't been keeping up with prices really and RAM has skyrocketed! What happened to 60 bucks for Corsair Vengeance?

This happened. Even so, RAM prices are still in the $70s and $60s, although I haven't seen one in the $50s without a rebate in a while.

I remember paying $65 for 8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz when it first came out. I thought that was expensive! :p

Maybe I ask why you wish you would've gone for a 760 4GB?

because its better! :p idk i know games are going past the 2gb mark like bf4 i hear is almost at 3 gb's and it will just tear through what i have so.. i wish i had it for the future. I originally planned on SLI but then i realized my mobo wont even do it

I can play the BF4 beta just fine on my 760 2GB. I think I hit 1.8GB max in a 64-person server.

Asus has stated that a GTX 760 will "run out of juice" before needing to use 4GB. Plus it just doesn't have the bandwidth to use it effectively, unless being run in SLI.

Interesting going for the 6-core on a relatively mid budget build, may I ask about that decision? Lights look nice :D

if i did it again, i woulda searched the couch cushions for the extra coin to get the 8350 honestly.

Don't repent on getting the 2GB 760 because even 770 doesn't make use of that extra ram when it comes to single monitor gaming. :p

And yes, you need a 990x/990fx MB for sli.
