You can cleap up some of the cables using zip ties. You can also move the cooler of the gpu to the front of the case it can reach. Parts are good but just need to tidy up your pc. +1. Ps: Unless you plan on upgrading further on, 1000 watt power supply is uneccesary.

The whole thing is quite unnecessary. I'd like to see some cable management as well.

I'm going to work on cleaning up the cables today. its the part of the build that is the biggest pain for me.

Try mounting the 120 rad at the very back. Also, gpu power and sata connectors could be routed a but better :) All as constructive criticism .

maan you should have gotten a 1600W. 1000 could be on the edge!

1000 w is overkill son

A great choice of components! However, there is room for improvement with your cable management.

any tips? its my least favorite part of this process lol

You can use the twist ties that came with your parts to tie things down/together.

Solid build, but what I would've gotten a full tower case and painted it green, and would've spend less on the power supply, unless you want 3 980 Tis in SLI

  • 1 point

I plan on doing 2 980 ti's in SLI. The price for the 850w was $149. price for the 1000w was $163. decided to go with the better deal just in case I needed the extra juice.

Nice to see another C70 with liquid cooling for CPU and GPU. I'm about to cram that into mine soon and wanted to see how others did it.

why isnt the GPU in the first place spot and also why is it called the green monster when most of it is red like yes u do have a nvidia gpu. like i would of named it Blood Red or Deadpool or Redhood etc

  • 1 point

this was my first build and I didnt think it mattered. when i went to put it in it felt like it was the spot that gave everything the most room. should i move it or does it matter which spot its in?

  • 1 point

Ye in first gpu spot you get the most performance

  • 1 point

I really like it. I dont have much to compare it too though because this is my first build. It was really easy to install everything and it looks great and fits the exact style i wanted with plenty of room

the monitor is basically a placeholder. I built this with the oculus rift in mind so planning for in the future. was thinking about getting a better monitor at some point though
