Thank G.O.D. for the lenient return policies. Buyer's remorse quickly settled in after a week into my initial build, so I ended up returning almost all the parts (linked here).

Part Reviews

At that price, it seemed like a unicorn deal that I could not pass up. Bought this on Father's day, so remember to call me daddy.

CPU Cooler

The thirst was real for a water pump. Replaced fans with LED Thermaltake Riings, cuz that's how I roll. Actual purchase was Swiftech H220-X2 Prestige.

Now I'm only looking forward because I don't care who is behind me.

That speed is sexy delicious.

Video Card

Beauty like Hannah Stocking and Beast like Brock Lesner. Ready or not, 4K HD here I come.

Variety is the spice of life and diversity is the main course.

Power Supply

May need more power if I decide to run dual GPUs. Don't worry babe, I've always had just one GPU.

Case Fan

More is always better. Triplets please.

Case Accessory

Who doesn't like an LED party? my Life Every Day

To wait or not to wait? That is the question...

It's for the best that you sent back the 770. That card is insanely under powered for the money you spent on this build.

That card is a relic from my Dell Desktop. Was waiting for this GTX 1080 to become available for purchase.

Its_Benjii 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

Okay, that makes sense. Still, it isn't a bad card. Just dated.

Where did you put the Hue+? Like the actual thing.

And also, where did you put the rad?

Hey how is the gpu?

incognito213 submitter 2 Builds 3 points 32 months ago

Love it so far but I need a 4K screen to utilize it's full potential. It's both beauty and beast.

Awesome lighting, how do you control the light of your fans?

incognito213 submitter 2 Builds 2 points 32 months ago

Thanks! 9 fans total connected to 4 controllers. Have to access the controllers, which are inside the case, to change the color of the fans. That's why I gave it a 4 star review.

Thanks, for the info. I like the looks of these fans, just never got a chance to get them for a good price.

Why did you switch to the swiftech cooler?

I was under the impression it has the same performance as corsair - just significantly more $.

incognito213 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 32 months ago

I really wanted a water pump, mostly for aesthetics reason. My CPU is about 5 degrees cooler than the Corsair 100i v2 (when idle) and I was also able to overclock it much more to 4.8Mhz.

Perhaps the older versions of Swiftech was the same performance, however, the X2 Prestige has been noticeably superior in my experience. The RPM of the water pump was significantly improved on the Prestige.
