Description

Budget gaming pc! I bought the parts individually when the parts are on sale. It took me 3-4 months to buy all of the parts. It was fun building it, and was worried cause the parts might be broken but nothing were broken. I'm very satisfied with my gaming pc, I mainly use it for Dota 2 and CS:GO.

I replaced my GTX 1050ti to GTX 1060, And thinking if should I upgrade my CPU or just add more 8 GB of ram...

Part Reviews

The RX 460 would have been a better option. With a bit of searching i have found a few as low as $120. With the extra 20% performance it would have made a much better option.

I was thinking about getting the rx460, but I found a great deal on gtx 1050ti,

Nullarc77 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

The 470 not the 460. Sorry. The 460 is slower than the 1050ti but the 470 is the one i was talking about. My bad.

Oh yeah but I was really tight on budget. $119 gtx 1050 ti to $180~ rx 470 for 20% more performance. I might consider buying that in the future though, if ever I'm not satisfied with my build.

In my first comment i wrote 460 instead of 470. Everything i said in my first comment was about the rx 470, Not the rx 460.

And you also paid about $20 more than you should have for the ssd.

Nice budget set up! Cheap is the way to go on a first build.
What kind of monitor do you have?

mmmmmarvi08 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

Thanks! 24" BenQ GL2460HM.

how much fps do you get on high settings? I'm trying to build the same one is that fine?

mmmmmarvi08 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

If its esports games like dota 2 (around 80+fps) and CS:GO (around 250+fps) both on highest settings in 1080p

But if you're talking about other games like the triple A games. You can play them but on low settings. If you're thinking about playing those kind of games, you might get a better GPU (like GTX 1070 or RX 580) and CPU (like i5-6600k or 7600k)

suleymanwashere101 2 points 2 months ago

Does the CPU comes with the stock cooling or you have to buy it optionally?

mmmmmarvi08 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

It does come with the cpu.

Great build overall, but the i3 is decent, but not great. You could of gotten the intel Pentium g4560, its around 10-12% cheaper and it's stronger, but if you did that to make compatibility with the mother board great choice!

buy 1060 ti for double fps

daarmoredcreeper_Gaming 1 Build 2 points 2 months ago

1060 ti doesn't exist.

mmmmmarvi08 submitter 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

I will think about it if i'm not satisfied with my rig.
