The case and the motherboard is actually from previous build, I use corsair spec 02 for few months and it serve me very well but I need a larger chassis, so decide to gave it away and got myself CM Storm Scout 2. Still good for gaming, forgot how well the graphics card handle games. I think this card should be able to run vanilla skyrim at high setting, or even max setting at 720pi . Overall I think this is a solid low end gaming build for them.

Again, great job. You're inspiring me to look into places in my local area that might be in need like this as well. Thank you. +1 on both builds.

Thanks, glad this build inspired you :)

I'm sure the kids will get many hours of enjoyment out of this. Nice job.

silvray submitter 6 Builds 5 points 30 months ago

Not too much though, the dorm mother don't want them to play too much, they need focus on their studies as well. It should be okay though, dorm mother seems know how to guide them when it come to responsibility and she seems to trust the kids.

ill look beyond the generosity and comment on how solid of a budget build this is. Didnt realize a 730 could handle itself that well tbh but still great performance for under 400$

silvray submitter 6 Builds 4 points 30 months ago

Thanks, I manage to play Skyrim with a few mods on gt 640m dell inspiron laptop on high setting 720p, gt 730 should be able to perform better than better.

epicnerdgreg 1 Build 2 points 30 months ago

i assumed the 730 would be roughly equal to a R7 250 which can do moderately well so i guess that would make sense

Happyville101 2 points 22 months ago

A-series integrated graphics! yeah... performance between the numbers of 240 and 250

RSCakeBomb 4 points 30 months ago

Hey there, I saw this and was inspired! I build PC's, usually for profit, but would love to donate to an orphanage or some other organization. What would you suggest? How do you make sure that the parts don't get stolen or misused and that you aren't called all the time to help fix it?

Jindo-Dawg_88 2 points 17 months ago

Great looking build list, this gets me thinking to try it in my local area some time too. Thanks mate. :)

Wouldn't an AMD be better for budget? Just wondering. Getting into pc stuff and heard that AMD is better for budget.
