I made another PC for some empty nesters who just need to stalk their kids on facebook and occasionally use home office software.
I wanted to make it semi-futureproof but they don't game at all. I would have gone for a smaller case but they said they had furniture that they wanted to put it in so I just went with this solid case from Corsair that I've used before. Overkill on space, I admit. Cable management is great on it. Really makes it easy to route anything in the back with the bumpout and tiedown loops. It's tight sliding the back door on but the main mobo power cable is even back there! Modular PSU is icing on the cake. Included case fan is good quality, no need to replace it for noise.
Changed it up to a 500GB M.2 SSD since the prices are low and they are insanely fast. Setting them up with Crashplan for their pictures. Going to put their old PC's HDD in there for easy transferring then unplug the slow beast assuming their pictures don't take up too much room. Liking this mobo too. Easy to install, configure and seems to be reliable.
Hopefully this can take a beating from their kids when they come home for breaks...going with Avast and getting them a subscription to Malwarebytes for active scanning.
