Description

After finishing my first internship, I decided to treat myself and build myself a PC (which was something I always wanted to do) with a budget of around $2000 for ALL the parts

Building the PC went very smooth, every part worked fine without any problems.

Cable management was probably the hardest part of the build. I know it's not perfect right now but I am satisfied with it.

First monitor I bought had a stuck pixel which was a shame, so had to get another one.

The PC runs almost all my games at high settings, 1080p, 60+ fps, and I am very happy with my build :)

Part Reviews

CPU

6-Core, affordable, works very well

Video Card

Stays surprisingly cool for a single fan

Case

Pros

  • affordable tempered glass case
  • looks great, layout is great

Cons

  • There's not much space behind the PSU for cables and it was a pain
  • Airflow could be better

Case Fan

Quiet fans, looks amazing, lots of colors, patterns, and speed to choose from

Only downside is that the controller is wired and connected to the fanhub which was inside my case, so had to use an expansion slot to bring the controller outside the case.

Mouse

Love this mouse - great customization with macros setups, DPI profiles, and also weights

Very nice build. Cable management can always be improved, but if it works for you than it's totally fine. I like how you spread out your budget throughout the whole setup. I would like to see some pictures of the setup and not only the PC. Awesome job. +1

Dang, starting off pretty strong over there with a coffee lake 6 core and a 1070, nice machine. +1

Nice looking build, but try to zip-tie some cables together to make it look a little better. And also you should try to get a better CPU cooler for the beast of a processor. Note; if you do have the stock cooler don't try to overclock. Great job otherwise!
