Description

I made this gaming computer in May of 2014. I used my graduation money, and money I saved up to buy this. Of course, it didn't start off like this. In place of the 1070, I had a 770. Then later on down the road, about late 2015 or early 2016, I bought a second 770 to SLI. I am still adding to this computer, even though I will soon need a Motherboard, CPU, and RAM upgrade.

I use this computer for gaming, schoolwork, coding, video producing, and audio recording. So far I have not run into any problems with my computer (knocking on the wooden desk as I type this). I have the MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X edition that I overclock on top of the overclock that comes stock with it. I also OC my 4770k to 4.2 Ghz daily use and 4.5 Ghz for when I do benchmarking. If you want to find my benchmarks my name will also be SirGoody on 3DMark website.

I also bought custom red cables through the corsair website. Not only that, but I paid someone to make custom stickers for my PSU to match the colors for my build and also do the large MSI Dragon vinyl sticker on the back side of the case.

Thanks man! They are the official Corsair Red cables. The motherboard connector sells seperate from all the other connections for some reason also haha

Yep, Do yours have the fault in the 24-pin cable that the holes don't correspond with the cables? It bugged me a lot man!xD

I do not remember having something like that! I will check when I get home and check back with you. I remember I accidently bought an AX version of the PSU cable and for some reason it didn't work with mine so I had to go and buy an RM series cable haha so maybe I don't share your same issue

Hopefully the carpet is the permanent placement. That psu and fans needs to breathe properly.

Nope, carpet was just for pics. Does absolutely fine on the desk. Fans on the bottom actually perform better on a hard surface. My only concern is the exhuast out the back because the wall is 6 inches away. But I've had no problems with cooling or my PSU at all

Thanks man! going to try and get some better pictures with the PC running today. Unfortunately my desk and monitors share a tightly squeezed space so you can't see the window too well haha
