Description

Well I just finished transferring all of the parts from my old build into the new one. I felt my old build on this site was really under par for what I could do. So with a new case, some new fans, and some awesome cable sleeving. I decided to totally revamp the look.

CPU- Works great, nice performance, nuff said

CPU Cooler- In a push pull config with two corsair sp120's, great results. Idles at about 25C at 4.4 Ghz

Motherboard- Nothing special but it does its job

Ram- Wintec...oh wintec. One of the heatsinks fell off in under 10 minutes of use. Don't buy from these guys

SSD- Works great, boots windows in about 5 seconds

HDD- Great price, reliable, good purchase

GPU- Runs games great, the cooler on it is very silent and cools effectively

Case- Love this case, the dual chamber design really helps with cable management and I would recommend it to anyone, especially in grey.

PSU- Reliable, no bells and whistles

Keyboard- Again, love corsairs products. This thing is amazing

Mouse- Very comfortable, nice ergonomics

This machine runs bf4 max settings 1080p at around 60 fps no problem. Although what I mostly use it for is League of Legends, DAYZ, and browsing. The SP120's were fairly loud in the beginning but I've become adjusted and they are not much of a problem anymore. My old case looked really bad so I decided to go with the Air 540 silver. I have no regrets. The case is awesome. It is 100% better looking in person. I would strongly recommend it. For reference here is my old build. This is a vast improvement upon that hence the name "redemption". Keep in mind that most of these parts were bought in April of 2013, which is why no haswell. When the GTX 760 came out in July it was the best card for the price, so I went with that. I'm really quite fond of the black and white color scheme of the build and I personally think it looks great. Anyways tell me how you feel in the comments. Thanks!

EDIT: It may look like the LED's on the fans are blue in the 4th picture, but they are actually white.

That case is a bit unconventional, but I like it. Wow is there is a lot of space to hide so many cables! The drive assembly makes the 3.5" HDD at the bottom a bit too noticeable unfortunately. Nice touch with the white accents. =)

Thanks! I really like the design of the case. I kinda like the two 3.5" HDD bays at the bottom though.

You can't see them and there is no need for airflow back there.

You can't see them. Buy a corsair air 540 case and then complain about the cables in the back.

Those cables don't really bother me. Their in the other chamber so I cant see them at all.
