Description

Built this just to play world of warcraft on and maybe a few other games. I'm able to run medium settings and keep a 70 fps while in raids. The graphics card is actually the Sapphire Rd 280X dual X OC edition

How are you only able to run medium settings? I have the fx-6300 and the R9 270x and run full ultra walking around AND raiding. Did tectus and twin ogron last night was constant 60 fps both fights.

I did try it on ultra and could keep 40 fps in my garrison. Just don't want to keep everything maxed out for hours at. Time when raiding. I'm sure I could run ultra. Another thing is my Internet DLS is only 15 download speed and 2 upload. So might not be that great to run Ultra all the time.

well I have been able to run ultra and keep 70 fps during the raid but I don't want to run my pc hard all the time..

Is there enough space to put top 120mm fans for a push pull configuration?

Yes there is room for a 120 fan. I have one more of the corsair fans left over. I think I'm going to turn the cooler master around so it blows out the back and put that fan on the top. Will need to get a fan splitter because the MOB only has 4 fan portz.

Only One??? I have MSI 970 Gaming motherboard and It has 4+1 fan header.

there is enough room to place another 120mm fan in the top I think it's a bit over kill if you have one in the bottom but it will fit

I would turn that cooler to where the fan is pushing air out the back. Nice build though!

I'm thinking about doing that. I have the one fan in the front and one in the bottom pulling air in. Also have one fan left over I think I will use to draw air out also in the top. Thanks for the tip

this just in! so starting about 2 months ago I started getting the AMD display driver has stopped responding and has recovered issue... I have listed my issue with gigabyte online a few days ago and have heard nothing from them as of yet. I moved the graphics card to the lower slot and the issue has stopped for now, so im guessing it's an issue with the top graphics slot. also I get another message throughout the day saying I have unplugged an audio device and plugged it back in.. very annoying at times. makes me worry if this is just a bad board.

Hows the pc performing up to now? I wanna make the same rig... Im going to really focus on cooling tho... Good airflow.. Im guessing that the more fans the better. I want to know how are your temps doing?

on Idle I keep about 17c on the cpu while playing wow maybe 29-32c max temps from what I've seen and when looking. the graphics card run about 30-35 ish on idle and 60-65 while in game play and fan speed turned up to about 65%
