Description

Hi, I'm 16 years old and i built my gaming PC around 6 months ago however it is an ongoing project. One of my friends asked me to post my build... so here it is!

This PC is a budget build and quite a few of the parts were purchased from eBay. The CPU, one of the graphics cars, the CPU Cooler and the SSD all came from eBay. This PC was originally in a Fractal R4 however I upgraded to the NZXT H440 just after Christmas. A I changed to a case with a window - I decided to buy custom sleeved cables. At the moment I only have the 24 pin, 4 pin and 4x 6 pin power cables sleeved however i am going to buy White SATA power cables and white SATA cables.

As you can see from the parts list, I have 3 LG 22" monitors running at 60hz, 1080p. Most of the time I do not play in Eyefinity however this PC can handle all of my games very well when I choose to. The resolution of my Eyefinity desktop is 5760x1080p.

While playing Battlefield 4 in Eyefinity I get an average FPS of 65 while using customized ultra settings. when I'm not using Eyefinity my average FPS is around 85 which I cant complain at considering my monitors are limited to 60hz.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this - Any comments are appreciated!

Nice choice on the 4gb vram. I have crossfire 270x also but only 2gb. The vram is the only thing that limits my settings for some games. I was thinking about upgrading to the same cards you have. Nice build.

PLEASE tell me how the air flow is in the h440. Wi the 212 evo perform good?

The airflow is really good. It comes with three 120's in the front which push so much air through even on low RPM's.i would say the 212 would be a great choice as there's plenty of room and lots of Cool air from the front intake. If you wanted even more air flow you could put 2 140's or 3 120's in the top of the case but it would be a little over kill and the are pressure would be very high with just one 140 exhaust.

How Good is that 270X?

really good - the two cards in crossfire get really good temps and preform excellently with even a small overclock to the chip and memory.

Both of my cards came in under the price a 970 and do a much better job at running multi monitor setups because the VRAM speeds essentially double when you have them in crossfire.

you spent so much on the dam monitors and peripherals, and not enough on the gpu. also that motherboard...... You shouldve gotten a 2 sticks of ram even if you plan to get another later. The build looks great, i mean really, but where you put the money was sad
