Description

My first experience with a ryzen cpu. It is so far the best build I've done! The build has cost me total 880,00 Euro . I've only been looking for special offers, like a real coin miner. The performance for that price is awesome 1080p or 1440p no problem! I think I have found the perfect balance of price, performance and appearance. Please feel free and leave a comment or like...

This cheered me up. You are speaking my favorite color scheme and love how you handled your decals with this build. Well done with this lovely build! You'll have my one and support.

PC_Mate submitter 8 Builds 2 points 16 months ago

My man :) I have put a lot of love in that build ...it paid off?! You know my first own build was amd (FX 6300/R9 280X). Yes i´m a coin miner i love hunting cheap parts or special offers! But i have also family and pc gaming is just a hobby it has to be affordable! You know what i mean. Thank you for your support you will have always mine!

I can most certainly tell, a lot of love indeed! It turned out amazing, and that's awesome. I cannot say I own much AMD products, except their graphics card but their starter versions which were good enough for Photoshop and Web Design at the time. I heard of coin mining but I never dabbled in it. Otherwise for 850 euros for this whole build and setup is a great price, even in my translation in dollars. If I bought everything brand new it would be around 1,680 (assuming I'm not looking hard enough to find another available seller). I think deal hunting makes sense to do often as it works well.

But i have also family and pc gaming is just a hobby it has to be affordable! You know what i mean. Thank you for your support you will have always mine!

Yes, very understandable. PC gaming hobby sounds fun, I cannot say I am hardcore of this but it's fun when able to game. And I agree, affordable is the best choice. ;)

You are most welcome and thank you too. Keep up the great work!

Yahtadi 1 point 16 months ago

Do you even MSI brah?

Yahtadi 1 point 15 months ago

I just found recently a stick hangin around in your GPU. Mind to tell me what is that? Did you get that from case out of the box?

Kehrenok4u2 1 point 16 months ago

Msi really deserves the praise, sellers sometimes up the gpu costs due to demand but from factory they are competitively priced with usually middle of the pack+ performance, would love to so something simmilar to this on my nzxt s340 case

Ethan_Nathe 1 point 16 months ago

I'm looking for the same build. Do you have any benchmarks or average frame rates on some games?

PC_Mate submitter 8 Builds 1 point 16 months ago

Well i did not spend a lot of time with my new rig. Doom on highest presets (2560 x 1440) 75-95 fps. What games you like to know?

Ethan_Nathe 1 point 15 months ago

League of Legends, Overwatch, Subnautica are the main ones I'd like to know. Thank you.

tauicorra 1 point 14 months ago

LOL and, not so much OW will run on anything modifiying presets but on ultra theyre not very demanding titles, however, Subnautica? I strongly reccomend you get a very good pair of headphones and not any crappy sound card (on the mobo ofc, who buys those anymore...) instead of 10 to 20 more fps on the game. You dont need a build like this one to go for decent gaming on Subnautica (if you run subnautica decently lol and ow will be no match).

I've just finished building my own pc, and to find the components i needed i decided to go full out studiying into pc building! I could make a build for you if you want! My PC craze? Yup.

Ethan_Nathe 2 points 14 months ago

lol, I have a pc craze as well and as for making a pc part list for me im good. I know everything I want to get I'm just waiting on Vega to be announced for pricing and all that jazz to make my GPU decision.

tauicorra 1 point 14 months ago

Cool, about Vega, I'm sorry to disappoint but the architecture won't make its way to gaming untill probably 2018 or more, AMD has been falling back all these years and they need big money to keep up with Intel, where can you make the phattest bucks? Data centers, Professionals, companies, the sort of people that don't mind or are willing to spend 3 digit numbers on a graphics card which they know will be worth it; content creators could be included since Vega Fe has been targeted to professional environment while capable of gaming too. Which is a pretty stupid move, but they're lagging pretty far back, they just pushed Vega out, no decent drivers yet, and no drivers means you can't use your card at its potential, like having a bike engine trying to run a bus.

My recommendation and conclusions: Don't expect RX Vega or whatever they're gonna call it to come out DECENTLY, means driver optimization, untill probably the amount they're lagging back, 2018-19-20. It will launch by the end of this year or start of next most probably though. Having no Vega buy at least we got ryzen, means we can use some bucks of graphics card, which to any user is the important part, to any user under 100.000 subs on YouTube ;3

And GPUs... Ah... Fu* ethereum... Those cryptocurrencyes have fu** us up... I have found an Rx 580 a few days ago, granted it was a beefy gaming x+ from msi which is about an inch smaller that the 1080 ti! Double 8pin powered wow... I still picked it up xD.

So, Vega will probably not come cheap once it comes out, but maybe there's a lower tier 4gb of that expensive hbm memory it might be a good deal, remember crossfire, I'm hoping there will be compatibility.

Since there's no Rx 5/4xx cards on the market there's virtually no GTX 1060's at a decent price being the next option for buyers. Leaving us with the next best option. Cry. Jk, the gtx 1080 or 1070 for a fraction of the price and not a big perfrmance dropthe, still a top tier card. They'll set you back 1080~500 buckeroos, 1070~ 370-400 moneys.

If you're not a fan of more than 300, even if youre going with a r5 1400, which is the best CPU for the price for gaming, you really don't want to spend 40-50 more to the 1600 although it looks good, you wont have a realistic use for that; you should go Rx 5xx which is a cleaner 4xx series, but good luck finding a deal under 300, but IMPORTANT, there will be thousands of those cards on eBay for a fraction of the price once this mining craze is over, granted it's card that have been through intensive load 24/7 but for 100-150... It's worth the shot, ooooooor, companies will have to compete with all of those used cards for such a price therefore lowering their new cards, probably not much since it's used Vs new but still.

So, rx580 4g is good 8g is slightly overkill or go full 1080 1070 but remember you need a monitor preferably g sync, and they don't come cheap unlike freesync.

I hope this newly made wiki page is of use!

Any chance you could tell me how that cooler works for you and how you got that front dragon graphic on your case?

PC_Mate submitter 8 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

The cooler does a great job 60-62C under load (stock). I did nothing with the case it´s the Cooler Master MasterBox 5 MSI Edition ...google it.

Kehrenok4u2 1 point 15 months ago

ah, its not the case listed on your build list

PC_Mate submitter 8 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Doesn´t exist on the build list.

Kehrenok4u2 1 point 15 months ago

Rip, anyways though, great looking build, msi motherboard, cpu cooler, and graphics card in mine... might look into fan grills as well.

Awesome build mate! Did you have to use fan splitters for your extra fans or was there enough on your mobo to accommodate all of your fans?

PC_Mate submitter 8 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

More than ernough.

attakkann1 1 point 15 months ago

PC_Mate submitter 8 Builds 1 point 15 months ago
