(GPU updated, not going for SLI, accidently double clicked GPU)
Hi guys, this is my first gaming build. Well for editing/work purposes too (photoshop, ai, after effects and some video editing).
Hm so how do I start, I'm from the Philippines? Lol
CPU - Was going for i5 4690k, but since there's a sale at one online shop here, $35 usd discount.. Decided to get i7 4790k. Never let me down, games and rendering!
CPU Cooler - At first I chose this because it's white. Lol. Was supposed to get Corsair H100i GTX, but I was scared of leaking/issues/noise issues. I'm not expecting to get some good temps from this frostbourne, but wow, after adding 2 corsair sp fans performance on it (Push/pull config). Stock clock, idle - 32c load - 52c. On Prime95 I'm getting 62c (10 minutes running). But 52c max for gaming. (Witcher 3, BF4, Crysis 3)
Motherboard - Nothing much here, I just chose it because of it's colors. Lol.
RAM - It's white FTW!
HDD - I'm almost reaching the budget limit, so just 1 TB for now :)
GPU - Oh man, this beast! I ordered this here in a online shop. (Philippines). Before I saw this beast, I was going for G1 Gaming GTX 970 Gigabyte/Strix 970 ASUS. A friend told me this Galax HoF. After a few reviews, It has the most coolest temps on all 970's. And performance is better than G1 and Strix. I don't know why this card does not have many reviews on the internet. On witcher 3, Ultra settings, hairworks on. 1080p I get a solid 60fps. (locked it at 60fps) and the temps! 80% fan (so quiet!, you can't hear the fans cryin) 54c max gpu temp. Really happy with this card. Sorry I double click the card on part list, not going for SLI. Edited it
NZXT S340 - Easy cable management, looks so clean.... It's white FTW!
PSU - 650 was not available so no choice. But looks nice. Love the black cables.
That's all for now, for ssd, I'll have it next month after upgrading my keyboard and mouse. Look at that filthy keyboard and mouse, It's dying already lol.
