Description

I came up with this build in a short time frame after my previous computer's motherboard died. Unfortunately, this meant that I had to postpone my planned build because I did not have the funds to complete it. That said, I am thoroughly enjoying this build as it is; it is performing surprisingly well with every game that I have tried so far on it. Some of the parts did come from my previous computer.

Processor -- This processor was a slight downgrade from the FX 8350 that I wanted to go with, but so far, I haven't had any issues with it so far. It has done everything that I have asked of it.

Motherboard -- Pretty straightforward BIOS, easy to navigate. Not much else to say of this board right now.

Graphics Card -- I had to downgrade my planned GPU from an RX 480 to the 750TI because of the time/budget constraints. However, I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised by this GPU. Using my low resolution monitor (once again because of my budget 1024x768), I have been able to play every game that I have tried at high settings very smoothly, including a few newer games such as the division.

Case -- I have to say that I love this case. The sleek design is a significant to my previous generic case, and the USB 3.0 ports have made a noticeable difference.

PSU -- Nothing special really, I got it on sale for $30.00 so I went with it over a lower wattage one.

Yeah, great build other than cable management, and I know it can be improved! I have the same case and mine looks pretty good.

nice budget build man! i like it. i will say this though. Everyone in the comments is complaining about cable management in your computer and i know you cleaned it up. but linustechtips did a video about cable management and how it affects temps (hint it really didn't). So don't worry too much about that.

You need some new pics showing the new cable management, overall good build for the money though.

How would you rate/describe AMD processors and MoBos? Do they perform well? Handle heat well?

I use mostly Intel, but I have been looking to build a budget, yet powerful PC for everyday media storage, web-browsing, word processing, and overall family use and I feel Intel is too pricey for what I'm trying to accomplish.

Please respond with your thoughts on AMD. :)

I actually really like AMD from my experiences with previous builds, I switched to AMD over Intel because I also found Intel too expensive for my taste. I have never really had any issues with heat, but I've also not done much overclocking. All in all, AMD has performed very well for me.

maybe you could have said "could you take new pictures?" the way you worded it could make some people think that you are telling him what to do
