Description

Built this over the course of the last 2 years or so, so prices are definitely not what are currently listed haha. Originally had a 2500k and MSI P67 mobo, and MSI GTX 560 ti, which I gifted to my fiancee. I just picked up the PB278q just this past Monday and have been giving that a good testing.

Overall pleased with the performance even with non-gaming mouse/keyboard but I am not a pro-fps'r so it doesn't really bother me haha.

You can edit the prices so it will reflect what you paid for them at the time you purchased them. I am curious to see what your build actually cost. :) +1 for the cool backgrounds

That is a valid point haha. I'll have to dig around for invoices...I know the vid cards I got boned because I went the best buy route with them...but only because I had $200 in best buy gift cards heh. I will poke around with this in the morrow.

How do you like the headphones? I am wanting the same ones. Also, what is your audio solution? Do you us onboard audio, sound card, DAC, etc?

Edit: Oh sorry. I didn't see the sound card just glancing over the parts list.

The cans are superb if I don't say so myself...just know that these aren't for bassheads hehe. Gaming is great and I got myself one of those micmods for the headphones to turn it into a makeshift headset the best of both worlds. Jazz, Classical, some rock and metal. These babies shine just don't try to go all dubstep on them or they will cry bloody tears lol.

Okay cool. I don't listen to much EDM or Dubstep or any of that genre anyways. I think they will be great for me. Thanks for the info.

Its a dual 760

I had no clue that was a thing. Though to be perfectly honest, I had purchased the first 760 before I had considered getting the 1440P monitor and I was well beyond return period lol

Ok I went through all my invoices and tried to match up the best I could. The 2tb hard drive price was ATROCIOUS because that was the tail end of 2011 when the prices on HDD's were through the roof because of the tsunami. Also took into account mail in rebates.

And even worse, the cost of ram seemed to have swapped around too...16gb costing 80-90 bucks in 2011 now it's like $170...

How do the 760s work in SLI? Are they good together? I'm thinking of doing that.
