You might have to upgrade soon, so you are able to handle pinball 2.0 though.

Dang! That's awesome! You could probably play Minesweeper at best 30fps on ultra with that card!

I wish I could give 100 upvotes for the description alone! Honestly though, that is one of the best jobs of cable management I have seen on a PSU that isn't modular. Good job!

How come you don't like the monitor?

The size of the screen is 27" with a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 witch is small for the size. I gonna sell it and get something with 1440 or a smaller screen size. Also, the 3D was cool for about a week or two and then it became bothersome to charge the glasses and wear them. Keep in mind not all modern games support 3D too.

I got the same monitor, but I don't see any problem with the resolution being 1080p, i don't see any pixelation at all. I tend to hear that a lot about this monitor, but if you think about it. Most modern Tvs only run at 1080p MAX only now a 4k tvs coming. And no television show is even send in that resolution

so a 40" tv watching full hd, doesn't really pixelate to me either, so that's why i find it a weird arguement for it being a "bad" monitor. Atleast that's not why you're not liking, or what?

But you're absolutly right about the 3D, it's not really anything too special was fun for a couple of weeks then it got boring and sometimes even annoying and you stopped using it anyway. So yeah, I even use AMD cards now, so I can't even 3D if i wanted to.

Anyway about the 1080p on a 27", is the problem just that you rather want a 27" 1440p?

Last thing how come you payed nearly 450$ for it? I got mine for 300? And I'm positive it's the same monitor. You could get a decent 1440p monitor for 450$

The first think I thought when I read this was Respect

You defiantly have a valid point. This monitor must not be the one I am looking for.

Proximity to the screen also plays into how much pixelation you can notice

I sit pretty close to my screen like 80-120cm

To be honest, I got the A40's for its flexibility between Xbox and PC. Now that I have decided to invest my money in my rig instead of a new console some of the features go unused. For instance the mic to game volume doesn't do anything on the PC(unless I am doing something wrong). Also, sometimes people complain about the mic quality on Teamspeek and Ventrillo and I have not found any fixes on Google.

I had the exact same problems with mine. Returned them and am now looking at the Sennheiser HD598 and just a cheap mod mic until I can get an Audiotechnica AT2020

5k on a water cooled build and goes with a mid sized case. Why put monstas in a mid? why not go with full sized case? corsair 900d would have fit ur budget better.

I think you should be set for Minesweeper, you'd probably hit ~15 FPS on the highest settings with full DLC on.

How do you like the A40s? On Newegg, they get horrible reviews but Newegg reviews aren't the most accurate. What do you think of them? Nice build, man! :)

Hey, how heavy is it by the handles when you pick it up? Would it be easy to take for LAN Parties?

  • 1 point

hmmm. It is heavy considering everything I have in there but its much more easy to move the tower around with the carrying handles vs picking it up from the bottom.
