Description

So this is my first ever PC build! I'm 14 yrs old and love gaming, which is why I built this beast. You may be wondering how I could afford a $2000 dollar PC well, it's all thanks to my parents. I had a deal with them that if I got into the most prestigious high school in nyc, I'd get anything I want for $2000. And guess what? I did! Getting accepted into Stuyvesant high school gave me my opportunity to make a great $2000 gaming PC. I planned this PC for about 3 months tirelessly, and finally went to a local microcenter and bought all the necessary parts. Hope you enjoy my PC as much as I do! -Hawk out

Part Reviews

CPU

Terrific! I overclocked this to 5 hz

Motherboard

Amazing motherboard with all the features I will ever need

Video Card

Marvelous gpu crushes everything I've given it so far from 1080p to 4K

Case

Beautiful case comes with 4 fans and pwm fan hub and psu shroud.... I think that justifies the price of the case

Niiiiice! Knowing computer hardware terminology/having the ability to assemble one right now will definitely benefit you later in life, especially if you're thinking about going into a career involving computers

Man, for 14 years old I do have to say that you did an impeccable job of picking out quality parts... Most 14 year old's would grab some terrible 1500W PSU because its the highest wattage so it must be the best... right...? right...!? (at least when i worked at Altex that's what the kids always tried to do). Really, really nice build... I'm sure you're a happy camper and make sure to tell your parents that you love them because you'll figure out when you get your first paycheck one day how much money $2,000 really is.

+1, happy gaming!

Yep, I've been improvising this list for a while so that I wouldn't make irrational choices for my PC. This PC is all I could've ask for from them because it performs great and looks great as well!

I love the build. How has your experience with the case been? I'm most likely going to pick one up when I build my new computer around Christmas. $2000 for getting into a high school though........

Sorry for the late reply m8... It's an amzing case! Just be sure to get a gpu that won't be too big lol, because i had to remove a hard drive bay to get it in. It's a great case overall!

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately, my plan of building a computer is now moot, because my parents have told me I cannot spend my money on a pc and that I need to save for a car. Oh well. Hope your enjoying your computer!
